NAIA is a global experimental collaboration between vocalist Malena Perez (P-Vine, Mobilee, Objektivity) and electronica/bass producers FIRST AID, Stiver, blacksix and Godfather Sage. Moody, reflective and deep, the first release is a four-track downtempo EP infused with soulful, melancholic vocals, expansive chords and driving basslines. Thematically, NAIA explores the shadow side of human emotion while planting seeds of healing.
lyrics
there were the times when we'd go
there were the times when we'd fall
there were the times
there were the times when we'd go
there were the times
i just can't get it out of my head
i just don't know what to do
all you really need to do is this
you've got to follow the advice of a doctor
then someone, someone said
let thy food be thy medicine and thy medicine be thy food
was it hippocrates
such a better reality isn't it
such a more peaceful reality
there were the times when we'd go
